Job Description


Good’s Electric, Heating & Air is looking for a dedicated team member and customer-oriented person to join our team and help us fulfill our mission of helping families have a bright and comfortable home!


We are seeking a candidate that has excellent customer service skills and who also wants to further and develop their electrical skill set! Experience is a plus but not a requirement.


As a Residential Electrical Service Technician, you will start by working side by side with our Service Tech Team Leader to learn our processes like, sales, customer service, products and Electrical assessments and repair. Your duties will include but are not limited to:


  • Listen and learn from Service Manager and seasoned techs
  • Show yourself as professional and knowledgeable
  • Support in maintaining a clean, organized job site and well inventoried truck during training and once in own truck
  • Assist with electrical assessments; learning the process and the standard steps that lead our customers to confident buying decisions
  • Tend to customer’s needs and questions
  • Work to ensure that customer is carried out at a 5-star level
  • Able to utilize and handle multiple different tools in a safe manner
  • Have the flexibility to run on multiple calls a day all with different issues and needs
  • Ability to learn and then explain to customers what different products or procedures are used for and the benefit that they can have on a home
  • Participate actively in all formal exercises and on-the-job training to master maintenance, services, repairs and processes

In this position you will be learning of the potential in each service call is greater by better serving your customer. Our goal is to make sure that the customer is taken care of above and beyond. This way they know all the options that are available to them to make their home more comfortable. You will walk customers through their issues and what options they have to resolve those issues. Our goal is to train each technician to be a successful and experienced residential electrical consultant and customer service technician with our company.
